Swansea South Wales Celebrant

Hello! I’m Cerith — pronounced with a bold, kicking K — your South Wales Celebrant with a heart full of stories and a passport ready to follow love and legacy wherever they lead. Whether I’m standing beneath a canopy of trees at a Wedding or holding space in a room full of remembrance, I approach each ceremony not just as a craft — but as a calling.

To me, being part of a Wedding day or a Celebration of Life isn’t something I take lightly — it’s a privilege. A rare and radiant moment in time where everything stands still… and the story takes centre stage. These are the occasions where love is loud, grief is held gently, and gratitude hums in every breath. They affirm the beauty of togetherness and the powerful truth that the stories we share can echo long after the day is done.

I’m a born people-person — instinctive, warm, and joyfully present. Family means everything to me: my wife, my mum, and my sister are my grounding forces. I bring honesty, heart, and unashamedly feel-good humour to everything I do — along with a generous dash of charm and just the right amount of cheekiness.

I believe in making the most of every single day — squeezing the joy out of life’s little details. You’ll find me wild swimming at sunrise, surfing under moody skies, dancing barefoot in the kitchen with a glass of red in hand, or curled up with my beloved Italian greyhound Bonnie (yes, I’m absolutely obsessed). Arcade Fire spinning on vinyl. Coffee just the way I like it. And always, always chasing the next nugget of happiness.

Whether we meet to celebrate a love story, honour a life, or create something entirely your own — I’ll be the voice that brings your story into bloom, with soul, style, and a little cinematic sparkle.

Your Swansea-based Storytelling Celebrant…

My experience…

I’m a proud Celtic soul, with deep roots in both Wales and Scotland — shaped by rolling hills, sea air, and a strong sense of home.

My professional journey began over two decades ago in the worlds of Acting, Voiceover, and Writing — all anchored in one simple truth: I love stories, and I’m endlessly fascinated by the people who live them.

As an Actor (stage name: Cerith Flinn), I’ve been fortunate to work across the globe, with a career spanning television, film, theatre, radio, and commercials. You might know me from my series regular roles as Aran in BBC’s fantasy drama Wolfblood, Gethin Pryce in EastEnders, or Dr. Levi in Hollyoaks. Each project taught me about timing, connection, and the critical importance of delivery. Whether it was a heartfelt pause on stage or a carefully measured line on television, I learned that the way a message is shared can transform its impact. Delivery isn’t just about words — it’s about presence, energy, and intention. It’s the subtle art of knowing when to let silence speak, when to let a smile shine through, and how to use voice and body language to create something that feels immediate and alive. Delivery shapes every moment, giving weight to the small details. It’s the heartbeat of what I do - making moments not just heard, but felt.

As a Voiceover Artist, I’ve lent my voice to everything from television ads to audiobooks, video games, and radio dramas — most proudly to the legendary BBC series The Archers. It’s work that’s honed my vocal craft and deepened my understanding of nuance, tone, and emotional storytelling.

As a Writer, I’ve developed a range of spec scripts, and I’m currently developing my feel-good comedy-drama Little Dragons — a project close to my heart that celebrates the strength of community and parenting.

I've also had many years of experience assisting my wife in her wedding photography business,  ‘Kirsty Louise Photo’ (the images that grace this site are captured by the two of us). As her Second Photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless weddings unfold — up close and in real time. It’s given me a deep, practical understanding of the rhythm of a wedding day: how it breathes, shifts, and swells with feeling. I’ve seen how the smallest gestures can become the most memorable frames. I know how to position couples with intention so that both your guests and your photos capture the magic — including that all-important first kiss. But more than that, those experiences taught me how to read a room, support families from all walks of life, and care for people at their most emotional and joyful. It sharpened my empathy, my adaptability, and my quiet instinct for making everyone feel at ease — truly seen and celebrated.

All of this — the years of storytelling, the listening, the performing, the creating, the supporting — led me, quite naturally, to Celebrancy. I took the leap in 2024, bringing with me a toolkit built on connection, presence, and emotional intuition… Enter Cerith the Celebrant and my one of a kind crafted cinematic ceremonies. And hiraeth — that untranslatable Welsh ache — living deep in my bones, tenderly pulling me toward hearts I’ve known, and those I’ve yet to meet.

A soft-footed arrival back to myself. A tide returning. A coming home… as if the credits had always been rolling toward this scene.
